UMark Turns 2 Years Old
Two years ago today, I registered a project on SourceForge called ut2k3 botmatch benchmark, and released version 1.0.0 Beta 1 immediately after project approval. Although it was one of the best UT2003 benchmarking programs around, it didn't get as much attention. Just over a year later, I renamed it to UMark as it now supported the upcoming UT2004, which finally gave it the attention it deserved. And yet another year, and I'm still finding ways to improve UMark. Happy birthday UMark!

What is UMark?

UMark is an open source graphical user interface that allows gamers and hardware reviewers to easily configure and run benchmarks on Unreal® Tournament 200x (UT2003 and UT2004, both demo and retail versions). It supports "botmatch", "flyby", and "timedemo" benchmarking. Users have the availability to save/load their benchmark scores, or even submit them online.
